First of all, how do you pronounce your name?
Glaux is pronounced like "glow."

What services do you provide?
We offer services to homes, rentals, AirBnB, offices and commercial properties. 

What is included in the cleaning?
You can see a list of services we provide here

What is NOT included in the cleaning?
Services we do not include are: carpet cleaning, human waste clean up, biohazards (mold), and pest infestation.

What additional services do you provide?
You can see a list of our additional services here.

What are your service hours?
Cleaning appointments are available Monday through Sunday. The earliest appointment is at 9AM and our latest starts at 5PM.

What is the quickest/easiest way of getting in contact with you?
As we spend much of our day out at cleanings it is generally easier to get in touch with us by e-mail at glauxcleaningco@gmail.com.

Do you offer last minute cleanings?
It depends on availability.  You are welcome to email us glauxcleaningco@gmail.com to ask if we have any open slots the next day.

How far in advance do I need to book a cleaning?
We recommend at least a week in advance.

What is your arrival time window?
We pride ourselves on timeliness so we will arrive as close to your appointment time as we can. In the event that we have had a delay at the home before yours we will call or text you letting you know.

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Please call or send us an e-mail at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations later than that are subject to a fee of $50.

What is your payment policy?
Payment is due on the day of your cleaning. We accept cash, check (made payable to Glaux Cleaning Company) or credit card through PayPal. One time cleanings are cash only.

Do I need to leave a tip for my service?
It is not required, but certainly appreciated. 

What is your keyholding policy?
Keyholding is a free option that facilitates entry to your home so you don't have to wait for our arrival. If you are interested in this please let us know when you book your appointment.

What is your pet policy?
For your pets and our safety we please ask that you keep any animals in a safe location for the duration of our cleaning.

Do I need to provide cleaning products?
No, we provide our own cleaning products. If however you would like us to use your own please just let us know.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?
No, you can leave a key for us to get in and we'll handle it from there. You may leave your key under a mat, in the mailbox, at a front-desk, or somewhere else out of sight. If you book online just remember to tell us where the key will be in the instructions, otherwise just give us a call.
